Estonian basketball player Janari Jõesaare's club, Sarajevo-based KK Bosna, took an important step toward the finals of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian basketball championship, defeating Tuzla Sloboda 73:66 in the opening semifinal match played away.

The game was closely contested throughout all four quarters. KK Bosna led after the first quarter 18:13, but Tuzla Sloboda fought back to take the second quarter 18:14. The third quarter proved decisive, with KK Bosna outscoring their opponents 24:19, before both teams finished with near-identical final quarters — 17:16 in favor of KK Bosna.

With the away victory secured, KK Bosna now holds a strong advantage ahead of the second leg of the semifinal tie, putting Jõesaare and his teammates firmly on course for a place in the championship final.
