On Thursday, 11 June, Tallinn School 21 celebrated the completion of basic education with 122 students. During the formal ceremony, commendations were awarded to ten outstanding pupils who distinguished themselves through their academic achievements.

Victoria Sophia Riikoja, a 16-year-old graduate, described the moment with relief and joy: "At last all this hard work has paid off! The exams went well and I'm continuing my studies here." She is among those for whom the long and demanding final period of school years has passed happily.

However, the season of graduation ceremonies brings families significant expenses. Party clothes, flowers, photographer, banquet and gifts-all of this takes a toll on household budgets. According to many parents, basic school graduation has become an increasingly costly tradition over the years, requiring careful planning months in advance.

Tallinn School 21 is one of the capital's largest basic schools. Each year, hundreds of young people progress from there to secondary school or vocational education, with some continuing their studies in the upper secondary section located in the same school building.
