Angelina Jolie admits: hasn't dated anyone since splitting from Brad Pitt

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie revealed in a rare interview that she hasn't been on a date for nearly a decade since her split from Brad Pitt. Jolie explained that she has focused on raising her children, but her new film "Couture" made her realize that love and motherhood don't exclude each other.

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie (51) made a rare confession about her personal life in an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, revealing that she hasn't been on a date for years since her separation from actor Brad Pitt (62).

Jolie spoke about her love life in connection with her new film "Couture," in which she plays American filmmaker Maxine Walker, a woman who is diagnosed with breast cancer while working during Paris Fashion Week. In the film, Maxine's romantic storyline unfolds with cinematographer Anton, a role played by Louis Garrel, and the on-screen chemistry between the actors led many to speculate whether there might be something between the pair off-screen as well.

"Honestly, I haven't been on a date since my divorce nearly ten years ago," Jolie said in the interview. "I've grown accustomed to thinking that if I focus on my children and family, then that part of my life is no longer a priority."

However, Jolie noted that the role helped her view her own life in a new light. "It took me a moment to understand that she could love her daughter and be completely dedicated to her, but at the same time need that as a woman and allow herself to embrace it," she explained, describing her character.

Jolie and Pitt separated in September 2016 after twelve years of marriage. Their divorce proceedings stretched over eight years. The former spouses have six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
