Brown-banded Armadillos Get New Enclosures at Tallinn Zoo
Two new enclosures for brown-banded armadillos are being completed at Tallinn Zoo. On Monday, members of the Estonian Zoo Friends Society brought sand, mulch, and logs to furnish the enclosures for these fascinating animals, which are characterised by distinctive rows of bony plates covering their backs.

On Monday, members of the Estonian Zoo Friends Society delivered a large quantity of sand, mulch, and a couple of sturdy logs to the pachyderm house, which were placed in front of the elephant enclosure fence. The new enclosures will soon be home to these remarkable and very curious animals.
