KultuurA distinctive co-created performance called 'Janu' (meaning 'Thirst') is set to premiere this week at Püha Johannese Kool, exploring themes of closeness and the longing to be understood through the eyes of young performers.
The production brings together students from the school's drama studio and dance school, who collaborated under the artistic guidance of Liina Olmaru and Kärt Tõnisson. The piece is inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's beloved tale 'The Little Prince', reimagining its emotional core through movement and performance.
The co-creation format means the students themselves played a central role in shaping the narrative and choreography, making 'Janu' not just a performance but a genuine reflection of the young artists' own search for connection and meaning.
