Content creator Helen Adamson: a luxury handbag priced at €2000 is an investment, not an impulse purchase
Estonian content creator Helen Adamson admits that luxury goods are her greatest weakness, but emphasizes that she does not believe in impulse shopping. She views expensive designer bags as investments that can be passed down to her daughter.
CultureEstonian content creator Helen Adamson has publicly admitted that luxury goods are a particular weakness in her life, but not one to which she gives in thoughtlessly.
Adamson explains that for her, purchasing items with a high price tag is never an impulse buying decision. For some valuable bags, she has saved money specifically, and even tax refunds have gone towards such purchases.
"Many people probably think, my goodness, paying €2000 for a single bag," she laughs, adding that she completely understands such a reaction. Yet her view of luxury items is broader than just the price tag.
According to the content creator, luxury means above all quality and durability for her. A designer bag is not, in her eyes, a symbol of consumption, but a long-term investment-an item that can one day be passed on to her daughter.
Adamson emphasizes that this approach sets her apart from many others: before making an expensive purchase, she carefully considers whether the item is worth it and whether it will serve her for years to come.
