Court denies early release for Kohtla-Järve schoolboy's killer

Harju County Court denied on Monday, 1 June, early release for Artem Dronikovs from prison. Dronikovs is serving a 16-year sentence for the murder of a 15-year-old Kohtla-Järve schoolboy.

Harju County Court made the decision on 1 June not to grant early release to Artem Dronikovs, who is serving a 16-year prison sentence for the murder of a 15-year-old schoolboy from Kohtla-Järve.

The court rejected the application for conditional early release, finding that Dronikovs cannot be considered safe enough to return to society.
