Criminal known as "Wolf with Crooked Eyes" Jakob-Sander Grigorjev seeks early release

Viru County Court reviewed the petition of Jakob-Sander Grigorjev, who has committed numerous criminal offences, for early conditional release. The man known in criminal circles seeks to be freed so he can find work in Sweden.

On Monday, 1 June, Viru County Court heard the petition of the imprisoned Jakob-Sander Grigorjev for early conditional release. Grigorjev, known by the nickname "Wolf with Crooked Eyes", has a history of numerous criminal offences.

The man expressed his wish in court to put his prison life behind him and move to Sweden, where he hopes to find employment and start a new life. Grigorjev's petition seeks release before the formal completion of his sentence.

Viru County Court was to assess whether the conditions for early release had been met in his case and whether society would be sufficiently protected by his release.
