Culture Minister Heidy Purga has launched administrative supervision of the Estonian Artists' Union to examine how public funding allocated to the creative association has been used.

During this oversight, authorities will investigate in detail whether state support intended for arts grants and stipends has been used appropriately and in accordance with the law.

Administrative supervision falls within the purview of the Culture Minister and aims to ensure that public funds distributed through creative associations actually reach the artists for whom they are intended.
