EstoniaDemolition work on the high-voltage electricity pylons along Putukaväila in Tallinn started on Wednesday, ahead of the originally planned schedule. The move comes despite the fact that coordination between grid operator Elering and Tallinn city authorities is still not fully complete.
Elering had previously indicated that the removal of the pylons was expected to take place in the second half of summer. However, work began earlier than anticipated, marking a notable departure from the stated timeline.
The coordination process with the City of Tallinn remains ongoing, raising questions about the sequence of approvals and the start of physical demolition work on the high-voltage infrastructure.
