Dispute at Elva Midsummer Festival: Singer Beatrice Failed to Perform

On Friday, 20 June, singer Beatrice's performance at Elva's Midsummer Festival was cancelled following a backstage conflict. Beatrice accused organiser Silvo Piir of breaking agreements and behaving disrespectfully, while Piir claimed the problem stemmed from an unexpected schedule change and Beatrice's dancer's rude behaviour.

An incident behind the scenes cast a shadow over Elva's Friday evening Midsummer Festival on 20 June, as singer Beatrice cancelled her performance.

According to Beatrice, organiser Silvo Piir failed to honour their agreements and behaved disrespectfully towards the artist and her dancers. The singer felt it was impossible to take the stage under such circumstances.

Organiser Silvo Piir, however, tells a very different story. He claims that everything started with an unforeseen change to the schedule, and that it was actually Beatrice's dancer who insulted him at the DJ booth in front of the audience and the sound crew. Piir added that the artist is not an A-list star to be allowed such behaviour.

Singer Erich Krieger also shared his perspective, as a schedule change related to his performance was what triggered the entire mess. Krieger explained how his performance time was altered and how this set off the chain of events that ultimately led to Beatrice's withdrawal.

As a result, guests at Elva's Midsummer Festival were left without one of the planned performances, while the parties involved cannot reach agreement on who is responsible for the chaos.
