Estonia faces scattered showers on Wednesday, rainy weekend ahead
On Wednesday, Estonia's weather will change in the afternoon as clouds spreading from the south bring scattered showers. Daytime temperatures will reach up to 28 degrees, but the week's end will be wet, with rain forecast across the country by Saturday.
EstoniaOn Wednesday, 1 July 2026, Estonia's weather will begin to change as the high-pressure area that has prevailed in the Baltic region breaks down and a weak pressure field starts to cover the Baltic states. Towards evening, a new low-pressure system arrives from Poland to the Lithuanian border, with its northern edge extending to Estonia and bringing moist air.
The night will be clear with little cloud cover, and significant precipitation is not expected. Fog may form in places. Wind will be light and variable, with temperatures ranging from 10-18 degrees.
Morning clear, cloud cover increases in the afternoon
Wednesday morning will dawn with clear skies and no precipitation is expected. On the northern coast, easterly winds will blow at 2-7 m/s, elsewhere the wind will be variable and light. Morning temperatures will range from 17-20 degrees.
In the afternoon, cloud cover will gradually thicken from the south and scattered showers will occur in places. Wind will blow mainly from the east at 2-8 m/s and temperatures will reach 20 to 28 degrees. In the evening, scattered showers may also occur, with easterly winds strengthening to 3-9 m/s, though in the west the wind will remain variable and light. Air temperature will drop to around 23 degrees.
Thursday and Friday bring more rain
During Thursday night, rain will fall in many places and there is a risk of thunderstorms. During the day, heavier rain will move east and in the afternoon precipitation probability decreases in the western mainland, in the evening also in eastern Estonia. Night temperature will range from 14-20 degrees, daytime temperature will rise to 18-25 degrees.
On Friday towards morning, fresh rainfall will reach the islands, then spread to the mainland. Friday will be rainy throughout, and southerly winds will strengthen noticeably during the day. Night temperature will drop slightly, daytime average will remain around 20 degrees.
Rainy weekend
There will be no escape from rain over the weekend either. While it will rain only in places at night, Saturday is forecast to bring rain across the entire country. On Sunday morning, showers will be heavier in western Estonia, in the afternoon precipitation will also spread to the east. Night temperature will range from 10-15 degrees, daytime temperature will stay between 16-22 degrees.
