Estonian defence startup Vegvisir presents new battlefield information management system in Paris

Technology

Estonian defence technology company Vegvisir is bringing two remarkable product innovations to Eurosatory 2026, the world's largest defence industry exhibition held in Paris. The company hopes to attract international attention at the show by offering solutions to the complex challenges of modern battlefield information management.

The first innovation is the Communications Module, a communications management system capable of automatically switching between different communication networks. This means that connectivity is maintained even when one network becomes unavailable or is disrupted-a critical feature in modern combat situations where cutting off communications is one of the primary tactical objectives.

As the second innovation, Vegvisir has expanded its situational awareness and command platform beyond land operations. The platform now supports operations in the air, at sea, and underwater, making it a truly multi-domain solution. This expansion allows unified management and coordination of forces operating in different environments from a single system.

Eurosatory is the world's largest land defence and security exhibition, bringing together thousands of defence industry companies and military delegations from around the globe. Vegvisir's participation at this exhibition provides significant international visibility for Estonia's defence technology sector and demonstrates that Estonian startups can deliver competitive solutions in the global market.
