Juku-Kalle Raid publishes excerpts from parliament book, presentation in Tartu

Journalist Juku-Kalle Raid has written a book titled "Spring at the Riigikogu: Our Own Tales from Sigatüük Castle," with two excerpts published ahead of the upcoming all-night parliamentary session. The book presentation takes place on Tuesday in Tartu at the Kaubamaja Apollo bookstore, and the conversation with the author will be moderated by actress Merle Jääger.

For this occasion, two excerpts are published from Raid's new book, titled "Spring at the Riigikogu: Our Own Tales from Sigatüük Castle."

The book offers readers a glimpse behind the scenes of parliament, where major political decisions intertwine with human moments, much like the famous Hogwarts castle in J. K. Rowling's works has its own hidden life beyond public view. Raid is known for his sharp pen and his attentive observation of parliamentary everyday life.
