Estonian rally driver Romet Jürgenson has arrived back home after the World Rally Championship's Japan round, where he demonstrated strong pace. His next major challenge is the important Rally Estonia.

Jürgenson admitted that the start of the season was difficult and he allowed the consequences of earlier incidents to affect him too much. "I let early-season incidents affect me too much," the driver said himself, referring to the fact that keeping emotions in check was a challenge for him.

The Japan round, however, brought his confidence back. A good performance far away in Asia gives hope that before Rally Estonia, Jürgenson is ready to show his best possible driving right in front of his home crowd.

Rally Estonia always holds special meaning for Estonian rally drivers, as home roads and familiar surroundings add motivation. For Jürgenson, it is an opportunity to prove that the stumbles of the season's start are behind him and that he can drive consistently at World Championship level.
