"We're both actually quite independent people, and this arrangement of living between two countries might even help our relationship last," Kõusaar said in an interview with Kroonika.
According to Kõusaar, the independent nature of them both is one reason why this lifestyle works for them. Constant togetherness can become a burden for certain types of people, while distance and personal space can actually invigorate a relationship.
