Kaja Kallas tells AFP: Ukrainian drone attacks are causing panic in the Kremlin
In an interview with French news agency AFP, EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Kaja Kallas said that Ukrainian drone attacks deep into Russian territory are causing panic in the Kremlin. Kallas gave the interview on Wednesday.
PoliticsThe European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated in an interview with French news agency AFP on Wednesday that Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian territory are having a significant psychological impact on Kremlin leadership.
According to Kallas, Ukrainian drone attacks that penetrate ever deeper into Russian interior are sowing genuine panic in the Kremlin. This suggests that Ukraine's strategy of extending military operations into enemy territory is beginning to yield results at both the political and psychological level.
Since taking office, Kallas has been one of the leading advocates for stronger support for Ukraine within the European Union. The former Estonian Prime Minister has repeatedly emphasized that Russia must feel the consequences of its aggression, and has supported Ukraine's right to use weapons supplied by Western countries to strike targets on Russian soil.
Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian cities and infrastructure have intensified sharply in recent months, reaching increasingly distant regions far from the front line. These attacks have caused disruptions to Russian energy and production facilities and forced Russian officials to deal with domestic defence needs.
