Rally driver Karl Martin Volver, originally from Tõrva and currently based in Tartu, is about to face one of the biggest challenges of his career: his World Rally Championship debut in his home country of Estonia. At just 27 years old, he is taking his first step in rallying's highest level.

Volver's experience in Rally2 cars is still limited. In total, he has made only two starts in this category, but both have made a strong impression. At Rally Jyväskylä last weekend, he was crowned winner of the Estonian Championship stage, which provides confidence for the forthcoming World Championship event.

Bigger dreams than just winning

Volver is not hiding the fact that his ambitions extend far beyond simply chasing victories. The young driver from Tartu hopes that in the future he will become a test driver for a top WRC team, which would mean the opportunity to contribute to the technical development of the world's best rally teams.

The rally driver shared his plans on the Postimees show "Parc Fermé", hosted by Karl Mihkel Eller and Kauri Pannas. The show provided a detailed picture of both Volver's career path and his future vision.
