Liisa Leetma and Joosep Järvesaar announced on social media on 20 June that their ten-year relationship has come to an end. The couple shared their breakup publicly from both perspectives, sparking waves of support on social media.

Järvesaar wrote in his post that Liisa made the decision and that he himself would have been ready to continue working on the relationship. "I would have been willing to keep working on the relationship, finding solutions that would satisfy both of us, going to therapy and making behavioural changes. She no longer did," explained the musician, emphasising that the post was not meant to blame anyone.

On Sunday evening, Leetma took to Instagram stories to speak out and thank everyone who had messaged her since the breakup announcement. "I just want to quickly say: thank you absolutely everyone who has written. Gradually I'm opening these messages, reading deeper and taking everything I can from them. This support has been, I don't even know… So unexpected everything," said Leetma.

She stressed that such posts are not made to seek pity, but acknowledged that it is a universal experience that each of us encounters at some point. Leetma named as her biggest lesson the fact that in difficult moments in life, it is worth talking to those close to you; support can come from an unexpected place.

"I'm just so amazed that the most right things I need to hear and what actually gives me so much strength come from places where I don't expect it. It shows that we shouldn't go through such things alone," added Leetma.

The musician has also revealed that she is currently looking for a new home in the city of Pärnu, specifically a one- or two-room apartment.
