Manna La Roosa's new location in Tallinn still unopened, staff awaits wages

The future of Manna La Roosa, a popular entertainment venue in Tallinn's Old Town, remains uncertain. Entrepreneur Sten-Erik Jantson promised to move to the Sõprus cinema building in spring, but the new location has still not opened and according to reports the business may have unpaid wage obligations. Jantson denies the allegations.

Manna La Roosa, a beloved entertainment venue among clients in Tallinn's Old Town, is back in the spotlight, this time for less positive reasons. It was announced in spring that the restaurant would find a new home in the Sõprus cinema building, but by early summer this plan had not materialised.

The editorial office has received multiple tips suggesting that entrepreneur Sten-Erik Jantson has not paid all wages to his staff. "He owes several employees their salaries and lives so lavishly himself!" wrote one tipster. Such reports raise questions about the company's financial situation.

Jantson himself admits that the new restaurant has not yet opened its doors, but he dismisses claims of deeper problems. According to the entrepreneur, the negative tips come from a single individual who is consistently trying to damage his business. He emphasises that restaurant plans remain alive and the opening of the new location in the Sõprus building has not been abandoned.

Manna La Roosa has been one of the most recognisable names on Tallinn's entertainment scene. Leaving the Old Town and moving to a new location represents a major step for the business, inevitably accompanied by administrative and financial complexities. Nevertheless, both staff and fans are awaiting concrete answers.
