Musician Tõnu Timm revealed on the show "Heli nälg" that his early years of musical passion were anything but carefree – as a child, he devoted up to six hours every day to playing an instrument. Despite this dedication, his parents were sceptical about his future career and hoped their son would eventually find a "proper" profession.

Timm recalls that his mother and father treated his musical enthusiasm more as a youthful whim than a serious vocation. "My parents kept saying it would pass and that eventually I'd learn some proper trade," the musician said. Yet this has never happened, and Timm has remained faithful to his calling, as musicians do.

Still, he has no reason to regret his choice. By Timm's own assessment, he ranks among the most prolific songwriters and producers in his generation – a result that speaks for itself and proves that the choice made in childhood turned out to be the right one.
