Musician Vaido Neigaus left Estonia ten years ago, choosing Finland as his new home – a decision that meant the opportunity to live entirely for himself. Neigaus told Kroonika that he knew deep down that the time had come.

According to Neigaus, it was a conscious choice to prioritise his spiritual wellbeing and authenticity. "I saw and felt that it was possible to live such a life in Finland," he said. Among the Nordic neighbours, the musician has found an environment where he can truly be himself.

Today, Neigaus is happily married and is raising a small child together with his partner. The development of his personal life confirms, in his view, that the decision made ten years ago was the right one.
