Ida-VirumaaNarva City Government has decided to commission a new audit of the Kudrukülä district's drainage system. The main objective of the study is to obtain a current technical assessment of the entire water drainage network's condition, determine the scope of work required, and develop concrete measures to reduce the risk of allotment garden flooding.
Flooding has been a persistent problem for private allotment garden owners in Kudrukülä for a long time and is one of the most pressing concerns for residents in the district. Previous attempts to resolve the situation have not yielded the desired results, which is why the City Government decided to commission a new, up-to-date expert assessment to properly map out the situation.
During the new audit, the condition of the existing drainage infrastructure will be analysed and recommendations will be made for necessary repairs and upgrades. The City Government hopes that the audit results will help develop a more effective action plan that will provide residents of the district with a lasting solution against flooding risk.
