Opera singer Triin Lellep: illness stripped her of hair, eyebrows and eyelashes

Opera singer Triin Lellep spoke candidly about a serious illness that caused her to lose her hair, eyebrows and eyelashes, and forced her to leave Estonia. A breakfast meeting at Uue-Harmi Manor turned into an unexpected adventure, which also involved Mart Sander and a coffee pot that melted on the stove.

Opera singer Triin Lellep met with a journalist at Uue-Harmi Manor for breakfast, which turned into something far more than a typical conversation with a public figure.

Lellep, who two years ago shocked the public with stories about an extraterrestrial being called Rohaani and then largely disappeared from public view, this time spoke openly about how a serious illness robbed her of her hair, eyebrows and eyelashes, and ultimately forced her to leave Estonia.

What was meant to be a peaceful breakfast quickly took a comedic turn: before the coffee even had a chance to be ready, the topic of ghosts haunting the manor came up. Mart Sander then unexpectedly arrived. Shortly after, a coffee pot melted on the stove, and the manor filled with the smell of burnt plastic.

When opening the windows to air out the place, those present also found time to laugh, if Uue-Harmi Manor truly is haunted,, then some restless spirit apparently took an unusually keen interest in the breakfast.
