Parempoolsed communications chief Ekvard Joakit joins the party

Ekvard Joakit, the communications director of the Estonian party Parempoolsed (The Right), has given up his non-partisan status and become a full member of the party. Parempoolsed is currently not represented in the Riigikogu.

Ekvard Joakit, who serves as communications director for the Estonian political party Parempoolsed (The Right), has officially joined the party, ending his status as an independent.

Parempoolsed is one of Estonia's smaller parties and currently holds no seats in the Riigikogu, the country's parliament. Joakit's decision to become a card-carrying member marks a formal deepening of his commitment to the organisation he represents publicly.
