Pärnu's summer season got a great kickstart last weekend when thousands of food enthusiasts gathered on Lai Street. The Pärnu Grand Food Street, held on 30 and 31 May, offered a unique atmosphere in the heart of the city, where sunshine, bustling crowds, and food aromas blended into a pleasant summer experience.

This year, the festival was held as a two-day event for the first time, a decision that proved popular – the crowds were enormous and visitors arrived both from the local area and from further afield. In addition to familiar Estonian culinary experiences, Latvian street food was particularly featured this time, offered in a record selection.

Pärnu Grand Food Street has become one of the most important signs that the summer capital is once again in full swing. The festival brought together various food vendors and offered guests the opportunity to discover new flavours and spend time relaxing in the city's public spaces.
