Poland's top league playoff final got off to a dramatic start when Warsaw Legia, where Estonian national team head coach Heiko Rannula and national team player Matthias Tass are playing, fell to Zielona Góra 74:77 in the opening game.

The decisive blow came from Chavaughn Lewis, who sank the winning basket just seconds before the final buzzer. Lewis is not an unfamiliar name to Estonian basketball fans-he represented BC Kalev/Cramo in the 2018/19 and 2020/21 seasons.

The playoff final continues, and Legia must find answers to Zielona Góra's strengths in the upcoming games if they want to contend for the Polish championship title.
