Retrobest celebrates tenth birthday at Pühajärv

The Retrobest festival was held once again at Pühajärv, celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Retro-style costumes, sunglasses, and the sound of era hits created the festival atmosphere.

The anniversary event brought together a large crowd of visitors, including those who remember the festival's favourite songs from radio in their day, as well as younger generations who have fallen in love with retro style.

The festival area filled with colourful neon costume-wearers and sunglasses-sporting visitors, while speakers provided the backdrop of hits that were impossible to listen to without humming along. The number of visitors seemed endless on site, and the festive atmosphere made it clear that a jubilee is something special.

What has always been distinctive about Retrobest is that it brings together different generations through a shared nostalgic experience. This year, the festival featured various retro-era music and cultural elements, including classic cars; one visitor cheerfully noted that he was delighted that E-Type was traded for JAM.
