Russian messaging app Max loses notifications on Apple devices

Russian messaging app Max has stopped sending push notifications for calls and messages on Apple devices. The notification problems emerged the day after the app was removed from the App Store.

Russian messaging app Max has ceased sending push notifications for calls and messages to Apple devices. This was confirmed by Max's press service.

The issue emerged immediately after the app was removed from Apple's official app store. Users with Max installed on iPhone or iPad no longer receive automatic notifications for new messages or incoming calls.

Removal from the App Store also means that new users can no longer install the app on Apple devices through the standard App Store. Existing users can continue to use the app, but the absence of notifications significantly limits its usability.
