Second Stage of Garmin Sailing Series Gets Underway in Lohusalu

The second stage of the Garmin Sailing Series was opened in Lohusalu as part of the Tallinn Yacht Club Trophy Races. The opening day proved favourable for athletes, with sunny weather and steady winds allowing all planned races to proceed smoothly. The event was welcomed by local government representatives, yacht club officials, and representatives of the Estonian Sailing Association.

The Tallinn Yacht Club Trophy Races are taking place in Lohusalu, which this year also serve as the second stage of the Garmin Sailing Series. The opening day proved ideal for competitors, with sunny weather and steady winds allowing all scheduled races to be completed without complications.

The athletes were welcomed at the opening ceremony by Lääne-Harju County Governor Jaanus Saat, Tallinn Yacht Club board member Egon Mats, and Estonian Sailing Association board member Kai Kallas. According to those present, the Garmin Sailing Series is an important platform for Estonian sailors to test their skills.
