Stig Rästa in Sweden: Aiming for the Top of Pop Music

Estonian musician and former Riigikogu member Stig Rästa said on Vikerraadio that he is not afraid to admit his ambitious goals in the music world. "I'm not ashamed to say that I want to reach the top of the pop music world," he said in the interview.

Rästa, who lives in Sweden, explained that his current focus is on building connections with the right people and writing hit material. Scandinavia is known for its strong pop music production culture, which offers the musician a favourable environment for pursuing international breakthrough in Sweden.

Rästa also highlighted a surprising positive side effect of his political career. According to him, his work as a member of parliament in the Riigikogu has significantly eased the social anxiety he previously felt when meeting strangers. Constant interaction with constituents and colleagues in the parliament has helped him feel much more comfortable in public situations.
