Approximately 60 scarecrows will be installed on the hay field at the Estonian National Museum (ERM) Heimtali museum on Saturday, 6 June, creating an engaging outdoor exhibition for everyone interested in nature and folk culture.

What makes this exhibition special is that it is not just for viewing — throughout the summer, anyone who wishes can enrich the exhibition with their own handmade scarecrows. In this way, the collection of outdoor displays will gradually grow larger and more diverse.

Heimtali museum is located in Viljandi County and is part of the Estonian National Museum network. It is a traditional farmstead and rural life museum where various events and exhibitions are regularly held to showcase the heritage of Estonian village life.
