Tallinn Airport sets all-time passenger record in May

Tallinn Airport handled 354,000 passengers in May, marking the highest monthly passenger volume in the airport's history. Compared with May of last year, passenger numbers grew by 13 percent, surpassing all previous records. Growth has been driven by both increased flight capacity and improved aircraft load factors.

Tallinn Airport announced that it served a total of 354,000 passengers in May – the highest monthly passenger volume in the airport's history. Compared with May 2024, this represents a 13 percent increase, which also exceeds all previous records.

Growth was supported by two main factors: the number of available flight seats increased by ten percent, and at the same time, aircraft load factors also rose. This means that not only were more flights added, but existing flights were fuller than ever before.

Tallinn Airport has demonstrated a consistent growth trend in recent years, but the May result marks a clear breakthrough. The record passenger volume reflects both growing tourism demand and an expanding network of flight connections.
