SportTallinna Song Festival Grounds hosted the inaugural Tallinn Motor Weekend 2026 on 26-27 June 2026, which proved a real treat for all motorsport enthusiasts.
At the event, visitors had a rare opportunity to see actual rally cars from the inside. Journalist Marjen Võsujalg peered into several rally cars, including the car of former professional rally driver and four-time world champion Tommi Mäkinen.
"There's nothing superfluous here, because the goal is to keep the weight as light as possible," Marjen described the rally car's interior. A competition car's interior differs dramatically from that of a regular road car, lacking comfort details, with minimal upholstery and all components selected exclusively with functionality and weight reduction in mind.
Tallinn Motor Weekend 2026 was the first event of this format to bring together motorsport enthusiasts in Estonia's capital, bringing together race cars, fans, and living legends of motorsport history.
