Singer and radio personality Teele Viira (37) has taken on a new role as host of Sky Plus's morning programme, replacing Maris Järvat (42), who went on parental leave last week.

"I didn't sleep very well that night," Viira described her first night before going live. Excitement and nervous anticipation woke her every hour, which is understandable given the new, high-pressure role in front of television viewers.

Viira is known to the Estonian public both as a singer and as a media personality. Now she is testing herself as a morning programme host, which means early mornings and live interaction on air. Her first working days are now behind her and Viira has shared her impressions of the new experience.
