Travel-themed TikTok content creator Janar Koddo has turned his attention to travel agency AirGuru again, publishing a new video questioning whether the company's advertised discount offers are legal.

Koddo claims that AirGuru displays artificially inflated comparison prices in its campaigns, from which a discount is then deducted, making the saving appear much larger to consumers than it actually is. The content creator raises the question of whether this pricing practice conflicts with Estonian consumer protection law.

This is not the first time Koddo has viewed AirGuru's campaigns with a critical eye-he has previously commented on the company's advertising practices on social media. The use of artificial comparison prices is regulated in the European Union: directives require that the price used as the basis for a discount must be an actual previous selling price.
