EstoniaIn Herjava village, just a few kilometres from Haapsalu towards Tallinn, two 11-year-old boys have made the most of their summer break by opening their own car wash business by the village road.
According to the young entrepreneurs, summer is not meant to be wasted idly. "You can't waste summer just like that!" has been their motto, driving them to launch a business to earn pocket money. The summer break had barely started when the boys were already working at full throttle.
The boys' entrepreneurial spirit has also amused the local adults. The young owners have already thought about expansion plans: "If the queue already reaches the Tallinn road, then we'll start taking bookings!", this promise shows that these small business owners' ambitions are anything but small.
It's a charming example of how children can act creatively and entrepreneurially during the summer break, instead of just spending time in front of screens.
