Ukraine attacks have killed 541 people in Belgorod region
Belgorod region acting governor Aleksandr Shuvaev stated that since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, 541 people have been killed in Ukrainian attacks in the region. Additionally, nearly 4,000 people have been wounded and the region has endured more than 55,000 attacks.

Shuvaev also stated that 3,928 people have been wounded in the region. The oblast has experienced more than 55,000 Ukrainian military attacks since February 2022, when Russia launched its full-scale military operation.
Belgorod region lies directly on the Ukrainian border and has become one of the most heavily bombarded Russian border areas. The region has repeatedly reported drone strikes, artillery fire and ground incidents that have hit both civilian homes and infrastructure.
Ukraine has generally refrained from official comments on Russian civilian casualties, but the Belgorod region has been a target of Ukrainian military operations throughout the conflict, in part because Russian military incursions into Ukraine have been launched from there.
