Up to 26 degrees on Thursday, showers possible in eastern Estonia

Thursday will bring warmer and more humid weather to Estonia. Cloud cover is expected to increase in the afternoon, with the highest probability of showers in eastern Estonia. Temperatures will rise above 20 degrees, though the coast will remain cooler.

Thursday will bring warm weather to Estonia – daytime maximum temperatures will rise sharply above 20 degrees, reaching up to 26 degrees in some places. Overnight, rain clouds will ease and under the influence of a high-pressure system over Russia, the sky will become clearer after midnight.

The situation will change during the day: a low-pressure system circling near Scotland will increase wind strength and bring warm, moist air from the south. This will create conditions for cloud development in the afternoon, meaning showers and thunderstorms are expected in the evening hours. The highest probability of showers is in eastern Estonia.

Night temperatures will remain above 10 degrees due to the warm air mass, making the nights relatively mild. On the coast, daytime temperatures will be somewhat lower than inland.
