Young paddlers from across Estonia compete at Narva Regatta
The Narva Regatta took place on May 23–24, drawing over 90 athletes from cities across Estonia. The event doubled as the second and third stages of the Estonian Canoe and Kayak Cup.
Ida-VirumaaMore than 90 young athletes gathered in Narva on May 23 and 24 for the annual Narva Regatta, one of the highlights of the Estonian canoe and kayak calendar. Competitors travelled from Pärnu, Tallinn, Viljandi, Tartu, and Narva itself to take part in the two-day event.
The regatta carried extra significance this year, as results counted simultaneously toward both the second and third stages of the Estonian Canoe and Kayak Cup. That dual-stage format made every race crucial for athletes chasing points in the overall standings.
The event once again demonstrated Narva's role as an important sporting hub in Ida-Virumaa, bringing together young talent from across the country and fostering competitive paddling at the youth level.
